We always wanted to try this idea out in a restaurant and we finally did although we don’t really accept commissions from F&B establishments.
The first part of the mural on the right is a portrait of Hang Li Poh enjoying her meal with the guests.
The middle pane features Laksamana Cheng Ho with a cup of Malaysian coffee.
The last panel on the left features Tunku Abdul Rahman with a bowl of chicken rice.
There’s even a special mural at the front of the restaurant and passer bys get to pose with the mural.
