Lately we were invited by iM4U to Miri, Sarawak, to paint in the handicraft centre.
So wheeee…..miri here we come! Artmisfits is expanding to East Malaysia!!
The wall was high and required scaffolding for easier access.
Our spray paints couldn’t get pass customs, leaving us with no spray paints to use in Miri. However, our artists work magic with the paint that’s available, sponsored by nippon paint. We are also lucky enough that we had found some local spray paint at nearby hardware shop.
The 2 portraits done by our artists amaze the locals very much in Miri. They were very happy with the new change that we were bringing to the Handicraft Centre of Miri, which was untouched for 3 decades before.
2 days before the launch, the Miri council held a dinner with the mayor of Miri and invited us to join there. However, due to the production being delayed due to the weather and electricity black out, the artists couldn’t attend. Thank you for inviting though!
The mural was finished on time and the grand launch went smoothly.

Overall, the locals of miri and councils of miri are very satisfied with the work that we have done, as well as iM4U too. We are hopeful that there will bring us more future opportunities.
