Michelle and I painted at the recent education fair for IACT college. The event was held in Mid Valley and we painted for 2 days. It was an amazing time for us as we got to try something new!
Completing a mural in 2 days requires a different kind of procedure. We used a lot of masking tape to get all the straight lines quickly. We had to make sure that the crowd stayed entertained and that our movements were always refreshing.
The mural stage was set up 10 feet high above the booth, we were strapped into a safety belt that allowed us to transverse only half the stage individually. Initially we were gripped with fear but after awhile, the fear of heights left us and we were moving about like acrobats!
The view from where we were painting was pretty amazing, we could see the entire exhibition hall and the crowd. Yee Hou, from IACT College made sure that we were comfortable and well fed during the event. Thank you!
One of the perks of the event: we got to dress up like college kids! I think we make pretty awesome students!
This is how the mural looked when it was completed.
